Canva catalog template: plan the layout and product data

What the download contains

The starter is an original, browser-editable HTML page with four product spaces and a product-data CSV. It opens without an account. It is not a hosted Canva template link, and it does not populate a Canva design automatically. Use it directly for a simple handout or as a layout reference when creating your own Canva design.

Find a native Canva template

If you want to edit inside Canva immediately, use its product-template listing or a creator’s catalog collection linked below. Look for a product catalog or line sheet layout, then check whether the chosen design uses Pro assets. These are external Canva designs, separate from the original HTML starter offered here. We have not copied or redistributed those templates.

Edit and print the starter

Open the HTML file in a desktop browser. Click the text to edit the brand, product details, and contact information. The image labels are intentional placeholders: replace them in the source file if you need actual product photographs. Use Print to save a PDF. Printing preserves the current edits, but reloading the page resets unsaved changes; keep the PDF or edit the downloaded source to retain them.

Recreate the layout in Canva

Create a portrait A4 design, add a heading and four consistently sized product areas, then place the SKU, description, and price together. Use the CSV as the field checklist. For a handful of items, careful manual placement can be enough. Do not assume that uploading a CSV automatically joins it to a design.

Importing a PDF is a different workflow

Canva’s upload documentation lists PDF and PowerPoint support with format-specific limitations. Do not assume a printed HTML PDF will become fully editable product fields after import. If repeat editing inside Canva matters, create the native design there and use the starter as a reference.

Check the longest item

Replace one sample with your longest description and highest price. Check page breaks, legibility, currency, and whether the last line is clipped. The CSV’s sample products and prices are fictional. Before publishing a real catalog, verify them against your approved source table and add a valid effective date.
